Chiliz (CHZ) is now focusing on the US and European Sports Market through a strategic partnership with LAGARDÈRE SPORTS
The Chiliz partnership is expected to push cryptocurrency into transactions in mainstream sport. Lagardère Sports will be working with the Chiliz (CHZ) team to establish newer partnerships of their network of athletes, clubs, federations, and sports leagues at Socios.
David Gokhshtein, the crypto expert, tweeted: “I’m going to say that @Chiliz has a great project and has entered a niche that no one’s bothered to tap into. If everything is done correctly, it could be huge.”
Lagardère’s network has a vision of becoming the leading agency on the blockchain network, and the current partnership with Chiliz (CHZ), makes it the first sports marketing agency which will position itself in the forefront of technological innovations changing the sports industry.
Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of Chiliz tweeted: “While we already have a portfolio of amazing teams, Barca added a new legitimacy and authority for $CHZ. Our next announcement will scale our vision to new territories and more teams.”
Sydney Ifergan, the Crypto Expert, tweeted: “FC Barcelona Launching 40 million Barca fan Tokens (BAR) priced versus Chiliz (CHZ) set to improve customer engagement. This will indeed initiate the trend of each team issuing their own token, keeping up with changing times.”
Barca tokens are built on the Proof of Authority Ethereum based ERC-20 tokens. These tokens cannot be transferred to other wallets and exchanges, as is the case with other digital tokens.
With the current stage being too early, the tokens will be available only on socios.com and chiliz.net.
Dreyfus opined, “Our priority is to validate the model toward fans and users.”
Somewhere near the Q1 and Q2 in 2020, Socios will facilitate casual trading in a trade-centric atmosphere. Dreyfus clarified that Chiliz.net, which was announced early this year will be a cryptocurrency exchange exclusively meant for sports and entertainment tokens.
Using CHZ, users will be able to buy the Barca Tokens. The Barca tokens give the users the right to vote in club polls to earn rewards. Football and sports tokens are expected to take the crypto to a whole new level.
CHZ is focused on accelerating more partnerships in the forthcoming weeks. Several sports clubs are now hunting for sports tokens.
