Matic Network Hybrid Solution

Scaling is very important for bigger blocks in existing blockchains, new layer 1 blockchains including ETH 2.0, off-chain scaling solutions like plasma, state channels, True bit, and Rollups.

The overall off-chain design pattern permits assets to move from one chain to another, execute transactions off-chain, and submit snapshots of off-chain states, dispute resolution mechanism, and more.

Matic Network makes use of the hybrid solution backed by validators staking the MATIC token. Data availability is one of the major assumptions in plasma implementation. Data availability guarantees are important in the process to ensure sync data from side chains to facilitate challenges.
