The STEEM community perhaps did not like the idea of TRON Network, eventually planning to replace Steem for TRON based token.  And, the old STEEM team have now forked to form HIVE.  Beginning March 20, 2020, all the existing Steem accounts will appear on HIVE.  Thus, users will now have two accounts, one on STEEM network and another on the new HIVE Network.

Sydney Ifergan, the Crypto Expert, tweeted: “The Hard Fork Somehow Happened for STEEM.  It is good to have forks and spoons with different recipes to solve a problem. Good for the Society. We will have different solutions for the same problems now. “

Sun, however, has the advantage of having access to large stashes of STEEM tokens, which were pre-mined. The Community clearly felt threatened by the power of the Sun.

Binance and Huobi will, however, support STEEM hard fork in to hive.  The hive network has a lot of support.  The STEEM token market has reacted in a positive way to the news.

STEEM TRON and HIVE

Steem well knew that when people are able to realize all the benefits, they will be able to enjoy on STEEM when compared to several other big names it will be very likely that they will be able to flock on to this blockchain.  Several of them have already built their business on STEEM.

Justin Sun, when discussing Steem previously stated, Our intention is never to take over any blockchain but to protect the sanctity of private property!” Sun also stated that some people on February 22, 2020, previously froze 65 million STEEM, which was legally owned by STEEMIT. Further, he recollected how during March 3, 2020, they were also trying to freeze the assets of exchanges. He reinstated on how important it was to stop it.

The Future of STEEM and TRON was supposed to be promising.  They were supposed to be onboarding masses on to the blockchain by way of tokenizing on the web. It was expected that STEEM would be put on the same priority as the TRX and BTT. It was expected that all of this would happen and that all will all be able to work together.

However, in the End, What happened for a Hard Fork from STEEM called HIVE.

The HIVE will be based on the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) mechanism.  HIVE feels they have saved STEEM from TRON. We need to see how things unfold henceforth. So far, things are positive for HIVE.
