Cardano Foundation spoke about the Cardano Ambassadors. They expressed the importance of content creators, meet up organizers, moderators, and translators in the process.
Content creators bring information to life and fill gaps in knowledge. They help create a guide, podcasts, videos, blogs, infographics, or come up with their own ideas.
Meet up organizers help bring people face to face. Moderators keep an eye on the official channels. Translators grow the library of non-English materials.
The webpage on Cardano Ambassadors speaks about the Ambassador Program, Roles, and Rewards, and there is a link to Nominating an Ambassador.
Now, with the explanation clarifying who the Cardano Ambassadors are, several hundred enthusiasts are aspiring to become Ambassadors. The program is set to recognize the valuable contribution of their ambassadors. The foundation has recently published vacancy for technical writers with blockchain experience who will be able to convert technical jargon to plain English.
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert, tweeted: “Cardano 9ADA) Ambassador Program is a brilliant approach in the process of filling the gap between the users and the foundation. Knitting people closer together. Great Job.”
Charles Hoskinson, in response to the Chicago Tribune, tweeted: “If true, then it would be the fastest anyone has ever brought a vaccine to market in human history.”
Chicago Tribune tweeted: “Pfizer and German pharmaceutical company BioNTech say their potential coronavirus vaccine began human trials in the U.S. on Monday. If the tests are successful, the vaccine could be ready for emergency use in September.”
Charles also retweeted a warning from Margarita Noriega: “There is at least one additional strain of coronavirus, according to a new computational analysis of more than 6,000 sequences. This complicates the suggestion that researchers should identify a one-size-fits-all vaccination.”
Cardano is now working to move from Byron to Shelley.
IOHK has tentatively set May 11, 2020, to be the date when the transition phase to the Cardano Shelley mainnet with the Haskell network test begins. Further, The Haskell Test Net is expected to be a different experience for the stake pool operators and the users as it is not incentivized.
When the transition is all complete, Cardano will be a completely decentralized blockchain. There are Cardano Enthusiasts who feel that Cardano is not building Blockchain 3.0, but rather Democracy 2.0. We will know how this works. We need to see if expectations will meet reality.
We will see if the ideal of the most useful technology to be one that will solve multiple problems at once in a green and efficient manner—success, adoption, and better than the first generation of Crypto.
