Digibyte (DGB) Jared Tate hands over the reign to Community in Style and all Merits

digibyte decentralized merit DGB

Jared Tate, founder of Digibyte recently, was nostalgic about how he started off with blockchain about 8 years ago.  He stated that greed is the fundamental driving force in crypto & people’s actions in life. He opined that the original values of this industry are gone.

Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert, tweeted:  “Digibyte (DGB) founder is perfect when he stated, a decentralized project must stand on its own merit. Not its founder’s opinions.”

He expressed his feelings over how people were looking to cash out when the coin moons.  He acknowledged that coin to the moon is a primary force, but he was saddened at how the tech was being used to enrich the few people at the expense of many.  He was worried over whether the industry will get centralized.

He clarified that blockchain technology was not about making some quick bucks and retiring to islands.  He stated that this technology was great because it was making it possible for everyday people to participate.

He recollected about how he had to deal with a number of people over the half decades who stabbed him back and landed up using DigiByte for a quick buck.  He reinstated on how no permission is required to build on the top of DigiByte and to use it.

Digibyte (DGB) Should Last into the Future

He wished Digibyte should last into the future, but he opined that those who profit the most must give back.  He was not happy about how it was not working that way.

He did not like the way several people and orgs who made millions off DGB, cashed out, and left without ever giving back or helping to grow the ecosystem.

While he agrees that nothing requires them to do so, he felt that the fruits of the labor of the few for the benefit of others are a backward equation.

He concluded, stating that he did not know what could be the ideal answer but stated, “I personally am done freely giving, giving, giving while the many take, take, take.”

As such, he expressed that he will be focusing his time and energy on a new endeavor by distancing himself from the emerging crypto status quo.

He stated that he was not leaving DigiByte forever but that he will be focusing his time on using open source DGB tech to help rebuild some commercial applications on his own.

He stated he is taking some time off from the social media while taking a well-earned break from the cryptocurrency space this summer.

He thanked everyone who supported & believed in DigiByte.  He concluded stating, “It is your turn to take over the reigns and guide DGB to new levels.”
