Charles Hoskinson expressed his excitement by recording a shout out to Jay and Matt.  “I heard that Jay is 13 years old and recently just got his first ADA, and he is learning about Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency space. It is always so incredible to see the young get to know a bit more about who we are and what we do.

Some of my fondest memories was when I was at Wyoming, when they had a class of high school students come down to the University of Wyoming to learn how to run a stake pool.”

So, Jay Welcome to the Ecosystem, and I have a challenge for you.

In a few weeks, we are probably going to take all the exercises that the pioneers are doing to learn how to run a stake pool. And, we are going to put those together either into a YouTube video series or into a course on Udemy that we are going to give away for free.

So, if you want to commit to do a “Stake Pool Rock Pi” and I would love to see you register a stake pool on that and that. So, welcome to the ecosystem; And Matt, thanks for letting me know. And, I hope you and your dad had a great time. Cheers.”

Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert, tweeted:  “Cardano (ADA) Charles Hoskinson by shout out to 13-year-old Jay certainly is making an awesome impression on students.”

Some interesting responses to Charles read:  “Hi @IOHK_Charles my son Aiden is 10yrs old and downloaded his 1st Daedalus wallet a month ago and purchased his 1st 1000 #ada, he is looking forward to this Udemy course. Keep the great work. It’s great to see youngsters getting involved in crypto so young.”

As someone from the Cardano Community stated: “And welcome to the younglings.”

Charles early on opined, it is so cool as the community is building already. Cardano really has the best people.

Charles Hoskinson retweeted about new cryptographic approaches to deal with data security concerns.  IOHK has been keenly researching to address concerns related to data security.

Brian McKenna recently took a fresh look at Privacy, considering we live in the age of information capitalism.  Data is a commodity per Brian in the current day world.  He opines that it should be protected at an individual and global level.

When anyone makes a purchase by accessing a website and logging in to their account, there is metadata which is connected to the IP address.  Tons of information is moving across the world, and if it is not duly protected, it can be exploited.  With that being the base concept, risks like targeted marketing and spreading of political propaganda have been analyzed.

In order to ensure data security in future financial and social frameworks, IOHK focuses on building privacy and agency through concepts centered on ZKProof workshop, Power to the edges, and inclusive accountability.
