Vechain, on June 7th, 2020, via a medium blog announcement launched a video contest to commemorate its second year of existence. The contest is to end on June 30th, 2020 at 22:00 (UTC +8). The enterprise-ready blockchain enjoins its members to join in the celebration to win huge prices in VET coins.

The blockchain through its committed team members have striven to prove to the world that it is the best blockchain. With the number of adopters or coin holders over the years, it has engraved its resilience in the heart of all, even in the face of a series of events that led to the cryptocurrency market downturn. With many applications, collaborations, and community engagement activities (such as bounties, AMAs, etc.) it has kept its word to keep its community at the center of its operation.

Though VET price stands at approximately $0.008 which is a long way from its all-time high of $0.018, the Vechain community is positive that there will be more existing stories to tell in the future.

Through Vechain’s proof of Authority Governance model, the network is always proving that a centralized organizational system doesn’t work when there is a head to whom all power is vested. This must be the vision behind the second-anniversary video contest which holds a huge reward of One Million VET coins for the best content as will be voted by the community as the end of the competition. Two million VET coins will be shared among the next nine top contents.

The contest is aimed at enlarging Vechain’s community base and bringing in new adopters into the ecosystem which is believed to hold a great opportunity for many. Among the suggested topics to be covered by participants are: What Vechain is all about in summary, Expanding the adoption of Vechain ToolChain, Vechain Tokenomics, etc. The competition will avail the contestants the opportunity to display how much they truly know about the network. The contest is restricted from the Vechain team members of their families. Essentially, Vechain wants to prove they have been a great teacher of its core principles to the whole world.
