EOSio was seen closely associated with Voice for some time; however, very few wanted to use Voice.

Daniel Larimer previously expressed, “By the time you do everything you need to secure a traditional database you will have built a blockchain. Since building a blockchain is hard, few apps will do it properly which is why apps use libraries. A blockchain like EOSIO is just a toolkit for app devs that want security.”

Daniel Larimer recently tweeted about the EOSIO Throughput and a response to paper on “Transactional Statistics of High-Scalability Blockchain.”  This paper claims that “the current throughput is only 34 TPS for EOSIO”.

Block.one states that there is a Webinar next week about building smart contracts.  The Webinar is scheduled from June 15, 2020 through June 18, 2020, available multiple times.  The total time space for the webinar is one hour.

EOSIO Architecture Series

The “dFuse for EOSIO” was recently released.  Several developers were looking for an explanation about the foundational architecture that it encompasses.

Alex states, “I am really excited to start a series of videos on the dfuse architecture. In this series of videos, we’re going to go through an overview of all the components and things that make up a dfuse instance, a dfuse setup.”

In the dFuse for EOSIO architectural series, Alex walks the users through the 17 micro-services which make up DFuse and explains in detail about what each of them do.  Each of the services will be explored in depth.

EOSIO Syed Jafri

In a recent interview, Syed Jafri, one of the prominent developers in the blockchain industry, spoke about blockchain, Ethereum, and the EOSIO challenge.

When asked as a developer whether he interacts with the other chains, he stated, “I do not interact with any non-EOSIO blockchains anymore. The few times I have had to make a BTC transfer or interact with an Ethereum dapp, the slow block times really kill the experience.”

He also expressed as to how unfortunate that some people did not stick long enough to see the launch of an actually better technology in the EOSIO.
