The Cardano Foundation announced the Cardano Virtual Summit 2020 for the Shelly Edition. The Summit is scheduled for July 2nd and July 3rd to celebrate the dawning of a new era for Cardano. The registrations are already open.
The community are overall happy about someone of the Caliber of Vint Cerf giving a presentation in the summit.
The Trailer transcribed reads thus: “Hello, My name is Vint Cerf, Google Chief Internet Evangelist. And, in the course of my career, I have built a number of things and I was part of the team that built the internet way back in 1973. The internet has turned out to be quite an enormous and globe girdling platform.
It is being used in a variety of ways and it is being abused in a variety of ways too. I’ll be at the Cardano Summit July 2, and July 3rd. We will be talking about the internet, its history, its current uses, some of its abuses and where it might be headed in the future. So, I hope you can join me July 2nd or July 3rd. See you there.”
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “A man of legendary importance like Vint Cerf making it to the Cardano Virtual Summit is good for ADA price!”
Cardano foundation are working to ensure that crypto assets should be technologically neutral and it should be based on the functions and features. They follow the ideals of “Showing up, taking part and driving conversations, and they consider it to be vital.”
The Cardano.org forum have published an op-ed which appeared on June 2, 2020, on CityAM and was written by @Nathan_Kaiser, Chairperson, and @Hinrich Pfeifer, General Secretary of the Cardano Foundation detailing on the importance of showing up, taking part and driving conversation.
The Cardano Community are in agreement with the thought of building a decentralized technology economy, which in turn is a matter of adoption by the enterprise sector of the blockchain technology.
In line of expressing this thought Roman Pellerin, CTO at IOHK stated that IOHK are ecstatic to begin collaborating with the Hyperledger ecosystem to eventually build a more peer-to-peer world.
The whole of the community are waiting for the transition from the trusted nodes to the broader public introducing $ADA staking.
