How Ripple (XRP) Was Open for Business Through the Pandemic and How they Have An Overall Growth

The Ripple Drop Episode 20 talks about How Ripple is open for business? In the latest episode, Brad Garlinghouse, Joel Katz, and Asheesh Birla discussed the global pandemic and about what it means for Ripple and the payments industry as a whole.

Asheesh Birla recently reflected on the current global payments landscape and shared the details on why financial institutions which are able to facilitate real-time payment methods are well-positioned as leaders despite the current crisis.

Reinhard Cate expresses that this is not a 2020 that any of us expected and however stated that it was encouraging to see employees, communities, and industries come together in order to become available to a new normal.

Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted:  “Whatever happens, the show needs to go on.  We need to find new ways to make life work for us.  Ripple XRP are very clear about not allowing the pandemic to doom things for us.”

Birla stated that at this point of time it is becoming increasingly important to listen to the urgent needs of customers to help develop better solutions.  Ripple are working with complete empathy for the current challenges faced by everyone in the industry.  Newer solutions which help solve the big problems are set to increase as new product features.

The pandemic literally disrupted the lives of everyone.  All the 300 customers of Ripple are as well having their own hard times, but they are all trying to work together to finally achieve a solution.

Ripple (XRP) Doing Well Through Pandemic

Brad Garlinghouse stated that they are waiting guidance from local governments, federal governments, and global health agencies.  He also stated that so far they have been doing well because the community they are living in have taken it very seriously and that they are pretty early in the process to restrict all of the business travel.

He also recollected on how one of the well-known faces, Chris Larsen came down with CoVid-19 and how he recovered.

He stated that they tried some new things like buying some office equipment for a few of their guys to help work from home as it was not a custom to work in a lot of homes as they have been.  They had to buy some monitors, printers, and stuff like that, which can be useful and said it served well.

About customers he stated they have tried to make it very clear throughout this quarantine with shelter in place and Ripple has been very much open for business. He stated how it is more important than ever to serve customers effectively and stated that it has been reflected in its continued growth of volume. Overall, he stated there was growth for the business as they were serving throughout he pandemic.
