Bitcoin Cash (BCH) claim to retain the characteristics of the original Bitcoin Protocol, thus catering to focusing on stability, scalability, safe instant transactions, global adoption and stability.
Recently, there was a Bitcoin Cash City Conference in which the key topic was on Mass Adoption in Australia, North Queensland Hayden Otto from BitcoinBCH.com and Cindy Feng from BCH City were in the conversation.
Hayden, started off stating that he was doing good in the Bitcoin Cash City living a BCH life by spending BCH every day. Doing BCH stuff everyday onboarding new merchants. He stated how new merchants are coming on board and also on how the virus situation has really slowed things down. He felt that the virus is non-existent but stated that the government is imposing restrictions. He further felt that the Corona Virus is clearly designed to cripple the economy.
He recalled how they were obviously planning to host a Bitcoin Cash City Conference, which probably was supposed to have happened in 2 months from now. And, that had to be cancelled. In the future, when things are up normally, they are planning to host the conference. He also expressed that it does not look like something that will happen very soon until next year.
Sydney Ifergan opined that this is going to be a good idea if the event moves online.
Sydney Ifergan, the Crypto Expert tweeted: “The pandemic should not stop the progress of the blockchain industry. It is only the best idea possible for the now for the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) City Conference to move online.”
When asked on whether they will be planning to organize the event in a small scale like in a Digital Conference. He stated that they organized a virtual meet up on the Future of Bitcoin Cash which was a success and might perhaps consider something like that with Bitcoin Cash City Conference.
He stated that they need to plan it a more advanced manner so that people are more involved rather than organizing it with a short notice. Also, planning in advance could be good as people could prepare some presentation. He stated that it will be fun, if one had to participate in that. They recalled about how with the future online event, many people did not even know about it. They wanted to ensure that people know about it.
If an event like that is set to occur, they wanted to make it a fun filled event.
