Binance Backed BUSD to Zilliqa (ZIL) in Q4

Reportedly, Per Medium, Zilliqa and Switcheo are to build a bridge between Ethereum and Zilliqa chain to bring ERC20-BUSD stablecoin to Zilliqa and further circulate as ZRC-2-BUSD.

The Binance USD or ‘BUSD’ is a USD-pegged stablecoin and it has been created in partnership with Paxos Trust Company.  Being a regulated financial institution they Paxos will act as the USD custodian and issuer of the BUSD. Of note, the BUSD is regulated by New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS).

The process of bringing the BUSD to Zilliqa will consist of building an interoperability bridge between Ethereum and Zilliqa chain permitting ERC-20 tokens to be moved from one chain to another. This bridge will be facilitated in collaboration with Switcheo.

The important parties who will be involved in making this process a reality are Paxos, Binance, Switcheo.  Of note, Zilliqa and Switcheo will be forming an administrative consortium.
