The Dev Pulse at Holochain provides with immediate updates on developments in the Holochain Network.
Of note, the Holochain DevCamp 7 is a month long, community-run, online Holochain developer training program. Thus provides to get hands on experience to build a Holochain App with 2 live sessions every week.
Holochain tweeted: “Want to know about the latest developments at Holochain? What we are working on & what is the latest fix? Say no more! This week you read about: Speedy, Improved Holochain Release Unblocks All The Things.”
The current excitement in the community is about Holochain v0.0.50 which has been released and it also includes the latest version of Holonix, which is the Holochain developer tools distribution. This comes with fixes related to a long list of consistency and related performance issues.
The HoloFuel testing is in to Pre-release testing from Core Community testing. The toll out is done in stages to help with identifying any remaining issues before the release to all HoloPort owners. Also, the Dev Pulse, reminds of Holochain DevCamp 7, which is scheduled to start next Tuesday.
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “It is upgrading season on the Holochain network. Though a boring experience, it is the most important thing to do for improved user experience.”
Registrations are ongoing for the DevCamp 7. This is good for those who are willing to dig deep in to the core concepts and to know more about the hApp design. And, to know more about the framework and HDK. For those who are interested, there will be two of the live sessions every week and for those who are not able to make it, the recorded version is available. The dev community is growing.
Mary Camacho, Executive Director at HOLO recently stated on how there more than 42 # HoloPort host nodes are transacting Test Fuel on the HoloFuel distributed #Holochain app today. This is part of the pre-release community test for #HOLO hosting.
Further stated that as each node joined the network and began transacting it was taking typically under 10 seconds to sync with the #DHT (distributed hash table). Also updated that, nodes each host a sharded slice of the DHT. And, more test results are coming next week.
The community members are excited about the superior innovation and the testing which is smelling good progress already with promising improvements.
