Baking Bad recently tweeted:  “Excited to present the first part of #Tezos Labs project that is dedicated to #Michelson language! This interactive learning course was created in collaboration with incredible @claudebarde for anyone willing to dive deeper into smart contract development.”

Michelson Labs have to state that it is not just another compilation target.  The Labs provide several reasons as to why learning Michelson could be a good idea.

Tezos DApp developer and wish to go deeper to learn to write a more optimized code in high-level languages; Those Tezos ecosystem developers who are looking to upgrade their skills for better understanding of what’s happening under the hood in terms of implementing Michelson-related tools; and those who are new to smart contract development and willing to do it right beginning from the very basics will find learning the Michelson language very useful.

Some of the small pieces of business logic for which using pure Michelson will be useful has been named like Generic multisig, spending limit contract, vesting contract, Atomex, and Baker’s registry.

Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted:  “Interactive Notebooks used in the process of learning Michelson language is useful to visualize, understand and split code across several steps.  Good for Tezos (XTZ) developers and beginners.”

Tezos (XTZ) Community Update for September

Tezos are very time conscious and they have reinstated to the community about reaching the last stretch of the year and further stating that there has been a great uptick in the amount of content, smart contract and ecosystem development produced so far.

They pointed to how the 20,000th smart contract has been created on Carthagenet.

TEZ have been placing great emphasis on the people and the community of Tezos ecosystem. They make use of “TezTalks Live’ which is their live-streamed virtual meet up, which has participation from the audience and the ‘TezTalks Radio’, which is a video podcast, which dives in the why of anything happening in the community. So, they have the machinery in place to keep the community closely knit.

TQuorum on Tezos Town Hall: Governance & Technical Processes, which was held back in August is considered to be worthy of recollection in which the panel of experts answered the community questions about the core protocol development and the governance.  The potential for development and further upgrades were also discussed including on how developers will be able to help improve on Tezos.
