Dash is now supported on hummingbot_io which is a trading and liquidity mining bot meant for decentralized market making.  Carlo Las Marias, Hummingbot COO have explained on why Dash InstantSend is perfect for arbitrage trading between FastPass Network exchanges.

When asked why did Hummingbot decide to join the Dash FastPass Network, Carlo Las Marias, Hummingbot COO, gave two points which he thought makes sense.  He stated how they have actually known Dash for quite a while.

He stated that Ryan Taylor has been a big supporter and we know that folks from Dash Community are also using Hummingbot. He stated that it made sense to partner is due to the fundamental strategies, which are arbitrage and cost exchange market making which require trading across multiple venues and this is a very common strategy just generally in trading crypto, but as well in finance.  So, how do you take advantage of trading opportunities? 

One problem is the crypto space is transferring assets from one venue to another and it takes some time. So, long block confirmations really closes off some arbitrage opportunities because even if one’s presented it just may take time to move assets to that exchange and then to trade.  So by using Dash Instasend that really adds another adds another dimension that allows us to transfer assets to different exchanges where there could be a trading opportunity. So, we think that really adds to the tool in the tool kit.

In terms of how we can build up these arbitrage in cross exchange market making strategies. So we thought that would be really neat and something for us to incorporate. And, the other thing we thought that was great about the FastPass Network is we have made some initiatives on kind of educating our users, so we wrote up a series of blogs called Hummingbot Academy.

So, what that does is it educates folks not necessarily specifically just about Hummingbot, but generally about trading, market making, a lot of fundamentals like risk management concepts.  So, what we really like about FastPass is there is also Big Push on educating users on trading also learning more about the Dash Technology and Instasend benefits.

How you can use that, so we thought that working together really complements and it is complementary in terms of getting our message and education out to folks in our community and Dash’s community.
