Jared Tate opined that the sad reality is that the Bitcoin has become very slow and that with the very high fees it is not anymore useful for daily transactions. Further stated that if he has been on a platform with DGB that he uses Litecoin. Also stated, still, I have been spoiled by the speed of DigiByte and find anything slower than 15 seconds annoying.
Reportedly, there are large numbers of unconfirmed transactions. Users are of opinion that smart money will find a way to DGB. Some users are prospecting on the odds of making the DGB transactions private. The reason they believe is because DGB already rivals most of the cryptocurrencies in terms of decentralization and speed. In response, Jared Tate expressed that he fully supports enhanced privacy on DigiByte.
Some users expressed that the most important takeaway is that non-Bitcoin cryptocurrencies get used for small payments all the time. Small payments don’t need Bitcoin’s security assurances — you just wait longer for confirms, if you’re concerned, or use hybrids not worth attacking. No LN required.
DigiByte tweeted: “In mid-November, the Ren team anticipates their new RenVM release to be available to the general public. This will bring support for DGB on Binance Smart Chain and DGB on Ethereum. We appreciate the hard work and efforts of the renprotocol team!”
Some people are still wondering as to why Digibyte is not getting more support from 3rd parties and why big Crypto news are pushing bitcoin to the masses and that it will not get DGB anywhere. Further felt that DGB will be just get a bunch of frustrated new people waiting for their transactions and losing faith in crypto all together.
In a similar tone, Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “DigiByte (DGB) needs a little more push to reach those it has to reach. There is no 100% free reach even for the best product.”
There are other users who opine that it’s just a matter of time. And, that they are already in the best wallets and in 100s of exchanges. When crypto as a whole gets massively adopted, people will flock to DGB and get spoiled by it, like we are. The best technology always wins. Full decentralization, low fees. No brainer.
