Bitfinex Listing XinFin (XDC) and Delists over 10 Tokens

Bitfinex have stated that In line with their commitment to delivering the best trading experience, they are delisting the following tokens: $AID, $ATM, $DTH, $FOA, $FSN, $LOO, $MITH, $POLY, $SPANK, and $UFR.

Paolo Ardoino, CTO Bitfinex when talking about the Bitfinex decision expressed that it is an important measure to provide healthy markets with high liquidity to our users.

Some of the users felt that this move is like spanking. Many felt this is the most needed move.

In this regard, Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “Bitfinex delisting is probably necessary because there is no end to editing with additions and deletions to ensure quality.”

Bitfinex Listing XinFin (XDC)

However, XinFin (XDC) is now listed on Bitfinex. Also, trading and withdrawals from $XDC is now available.  Of note, XinFin can be traded with US Dollars (XDC/USD) and Tether tokens (XDC/USDt).

In response to the XinFin news, some of the users felt that Big Whales are coming. Users were recommended to make use of the Bitfinex mobile app for best trading experience. However, some of the users had to complain that they have been missing colors in the iOS app and they were finding it hard to tell if their position is positive or negative.

Bitfinex Borrow

Previously, the community were excited about Bitfinex Borrow, which is a peer-to-peer platform for crypto loans.  This platform made it possible for users to borrow in Tether (USDt) or US Dollar (USD).  It was important to get verified to get the benefits of this platform.

When talking about Bitfinex Borrow, one of the users asked Is this just a breakout of the previous market? In reply, Paolo Ardoino, Yes. Margin funding markets are fueling this. You can think about it as reverse claim functionality, with a nice GUI.

Bitfinex ChainLink IOTA and UniSwap Perpetual Contracts

Bitfinex exchange recently announced that they have launched a new perpetual contract on their platform involving IOTA, Chainlink (LINK) and Uniswap (UNI).

Paolo Ardoino, expressed, “We’re delighted to announce the addition of IOTA, Chainlink and Uniswap to the growing portfolio of perpetual swaps available to trade on the exchange. We anticipate great interest in these products, particularly among funds and professional investors for hedging purposes and to manage risk.”

Thus, Bitfinex users will be able to access the derivatives section to find new products that correspond to IOTA (IOTAF0:USTF0); Chainlink (LINKF0:USTF0); and Uniswap (UNIF0:USTF0).

The minimum leverage is set at 100x and all the orders are set to be handled through Tether (USDt) stable coin.  These perpetual contracts are however available in only a few countries. It is important for users to submit an approved KYC. American users do not benefit.
