The Original Bitcoin White Paper and Why Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto

Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto Not craig

Riccardo Spagni of Monero Network recently hosted the Bitcoin whitepaper, as distributed by Satoshi under the MIT license with the original Bitcoin code at craigwrightisnotsatoshi.com.

He stated that this URL is one of the many places where users will be able to find the Bitcoin White Paper as distributed by Satoshi Nakamoto under the MIT License.  He stated that this is the license listed on the original Bitcoin Repository which hosted the code and the whitepaper.

He also pointed to how the license explicitly covers the “associated documentation files”, and provides permission, without restriction, to use, publish, and distribute the whitepaper.

He also states that it’s very important to note that Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto.  Riccardo establishes that Craig Wright is a fraudster claiming to be Satoshi with no evidence.

Also, every piece of “evidence” he has produced in the past has been debunked and found to be a poorly-executed forgery.  The debunked forged documents range from the earliest forged signatures in 2016 which he submitted to the court.

He also pointed to how the forgeries are not just bad, but that they are low-effort, which were meant to fool those who are unfamiliar with technology to make them believe random junk forwarded to them on Facebook.

The URL contains the signature for 145 Bitcoin blocks that were mined in 2009 (the year of Bitcoin’s launch), many of which Craig Wright has claimed to be blocks that he personally mined.

Riccardo points to how “As the message makes clear, these blocks were not mined by Craig at all, making it another in a long list of lies that Craig Wright has told publicly and even in court. He truly is shameless.”

Further stated, “Craig Steven Wright is a liar and a fraud. He doesn’t have the keys used to sign this message.

Riccardo however points to that the Lightning Network is a significant achievement. “And, also on how we need to continue working on improving on-chain capacity. And, that the solution is not to just change a constant in the code or to allow powerful participants to force out others.  We are all Satoshi”

This is not something new that we are getting to know.  There is even a Wikipedia mention which clarifies on how people have a hard time believing Craig Wright to be the Satoshi Nakamoto. It is important to reinstate these facts over again to ensure newbies are clear about the authenticity of the facts they come across in the internet.
