NEM (XEM) Becomes Member of GBA Global and Will be Heard More in the Blockchain Ecosystem

NEM have stated that they are now a member of GBA global and that they are looking forward to help solving governmental and public sector challenges with blockchain technologies. NEM will be participating in GBA speaking events in the future.

NEM recently partnered with BOS Germany who through the Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Foundation, do incredible & vital work protecting Bornean orangutans from threat of extinction.  Users were welcomed to donate XEM.

While there is a continual explosion of projects in the blockchain space, the NEM community are continuing to focus on 1. Community 2. Software 3. Ventures 4. Treasury to support the boarder ecosystem.  They are providing all the help that it takes to take things to the next level in the evolution of blockchain.  They are set to be commercially focused in a way to provide for revenue streams to the ecosystem.

NEM (XEM) and Ignite

Sharon Rubin, Associate Director of NEM Ventures recently explained the NEM Ignite Program in the recent NEM Show.

For clarity, Ignite is a virtual incubator committed to catalyzing the growth of the NEM ecosystem. They are providing access to professional mentoring and support through the community. Users will have direct access to the NEM development team and experts with real-world experience of launching successful businesses.

Ignite is important because getting an idea started is tough. They are offering real-world support for real-world businesses. Their focus is about those who are aspiring to get to the real world doing real world business and ignite are interested in real world goals and outcomes. Investors are looking for investing in startups as a part of the NEM Ventures.  They review the early stage deals every day for startup projects.

Ignite are providing a 3-month tailored program to help users become investable. They are facilitating a USD $5-10K award to each startup in the incubator. The workshops are set to take place once a week for 2 hours and this will be followed by intensive preparatory work. Ignite are action-orientated and they design the mentoring program around their challenges. The applications are open to eligible businesses every 4 months.

Ignite facilitate users with access to capital to get started.  They are focused on creating the right connections to the industry and the real world beyond.  They provide the experience required for users to get started.  Expert mentors take the users to where they are meant to be.  The ecosystem will support the users in the ecosystem.
