Tether (USDT) Focusing on Retail Adoption with Large Firms Already Adopting it

Tether USDT Adoption

Bitrefill is now accepting Tether and it is now possible to shop using USDT for several products.  For Clarity, Bitrefill is one of the biggest crypto ecommerce platform.  Their customers have been demanding stable coin acceptance and they have now made it possible. Thus, users will now be able to enjoy the benefits of their trading gains buying gift cards and mobile refills from across the world.

Tether does not have as much volatility and therefore it protects the value of crypto users who are looking to protect themselves from the uncertainty.

Also, large investors are buying Tether and reportedly its market cap has crossed $30 billion.  When talking about this Ardoino has stated that all the large customers are looking to buy BTC from over-the-counter (OTC) and high-frequency trading (HFT) firms as opposed to buying it from a single trading platform.  This is because big firms are able to help avoid moving markets to provide for better liquidity.

Since big firms have the capability to have accounts in different crypto exchanges, OTC and HFT firms, they are able to spread the buying pressure and therefore are able to bring down the impact on Bitcoin’s price to further complete the purchases quickly per Ardoino.

When the clients are looking to buy BTC through big firms, they send fiat and these firms buy BTC and convert it to USDT. This feels “most convenient.”

Asia and Europe are the popular markets for USDT use with Ardoino stating that Asia is the most predominant.  The very important use case of USDT is trading.  Tether are focusing on working hard to expand their use cases in making retail adoption of USDT possible.

Paolo Ardoino recently expressed:  600M USDt inventory replenish on Tron Network. Note this is an authorized, but not issued transaction, meaning that this amount will be used as inventory for next period issuance requests and chain swaps.

Noteworthy, in a recent tweet Paolo stated #Tether $USDt 28B and very soon in just a couple days he stated did I say 28B? It’s 29B now. And, users felt it was printing like Brr.

Tether (USDT) Froze 1.7M USDt

Recently, Tether froze 1.7M USDt that has been stolen as part of the hack of Yearn DAI v1 vault. And, this just felt like they are kind of monitoring and have some kind of control over how transactions should take place.  One of the users asked, please answer this, if some government demand you to freeze usdt that, allegedly, was used in criminal activities, would you do it?
