Taxes, Pranks, and Porn in this Week’s Bitcoin Update

Bitcoin has been around, and since it takes much attention regarding payment for buying goods and services, it comes to the greatest popularity. Most of the states all around the world have been using the cryptocurrency – and with this, many users are looking forward to getting updates every week about cryptocurrency, particularly the ones that are so popular nowadays – the Bitcoin. This week’s edition will bring you the update about Bitcoin covering the topics, including taxes, pranks, and porn to make sure you keep up with it.

The biggest economy in the world is facing the taxman, as the US, together with its cryptocurrency trader pay for the gains in the previous year. The market bulls and the economist are insisting that this had caused dramatic sell-offs, which lead to cuts across the board.

In the previous days, we have heard so many stories regarding the crypto crimes and pranks. But the biggest issue this week is about the German online news that claims Saveroid has obviously taken the money away. The website of the company has been replaced with a meme image, “Aannnd it’s gone.” Yassin Hankir, the CEO and founder of the company had tweeted his picture on a beach, lone gone – all of this after having raised a $50 million in the ICO. On the other side, the investors are not pleased.

Last day, Pornhub, a website where a bunch of porn images and videos, as well as adult services,  are to be found, revealed to join the revolution of cryptocurrency. The porn site had announced that they would start accepting cryptocurrency payments with the Verge token. The company had detailed their plans and moves regarding on a blog post, saying that they will take the token for the offered premium services and other available purchases that Pornhub customers want to avail. According to the company, the kick-off is marked by the events in Silicon Valley and New York City.

The hacked Indian bitcoin exchange, Coinsecure has updated the clients on Saturday regarding the repayment plans. The company had said they received overwhelming emails and calls from the clients in the last few days about the fund disbursement issues. They have claimed that are working with the authorities since the incident had stated. They also added that they’ve been working to provide data request, though it consumes much of their time daily.

The company had written this: “We would like to inform you that we had started working on the claims process. With our legal team, we are currently reviewing the contracts, and we are putting the claim forms together for your perusal. We hope that this coming weekend, we can begin with it and you should be able to surrender your request for claims withdrawal. Kindly understand that with the involved authorities and investigations, the things can slow down a little and with it, we have to obey the outlined processes by the authorities.”
