Avalanche, the Ethereum-compatible blockchain platform has recently seen a decline in DeFi activity. Noteworthy, the network set out to be the home of DeFi by hosting several DeFi projects. Considering the increasing numbers of DeFi projects, it just looked like DeFi is the destination of choice for Avalanche.

Though it looks like a statement of exaggeration: “Avalanche (AVAX) is saving DeFi from dying on this cycle.”

In the process, Emin Gun Sirer reinstated: “Prices will move up and down. What matters in the long run is reliable tech that just works.”

The focus of Avalanche blockchain is to sustain the impression of being the network, which facilitates ultra-fast processing speed.  This is obviously seen from the numbers of Avalanche Subnets, which are increasing.

Previously Emin Gun Sirer stated, “Avalanche chain usage is strong and on track. Fees dropped significantly with the introduction of two subnets, and that is by design. It’s nice to have a chain that scales.”

Also, Ava Labs are encouraging developers to build.  They are calling it the season to build.  Ava Labs continue to steadily build their teams across every department. They already have an amazing team, a lot of open roles, and are focused entirely on long-term development.  All of these developments are about making possible more of innovative new use cases for blockchain technology.

Those who are optimistic about Avalanche are like: “We literally changed the world in the last two years and some of you are ready to give up because of a couple of bad weeks splash your face with some water and get over yourselves – we’ve got work to do.”

Community Optimism: 

Technology is law.  They’ll throw misleading charts at you, speak poorly about the community, and do whatever else they can to protect their bags, but technology does not lie.  The technology keeps showing up, working well, and scaling smoothly as intended.

The technology made possible by the different Avalanche projects are totally truthful, notorious, and functional.  It is impossible to deny that the team behind Avalanche does its job well every day.  They are working on a future which few dare to innovate and create.

Subnets are going to change the game once the full capabilities of unlimited horizontal scaling are realized. Not to mention, optimal gas fees and full Avax consensus and security. The AVAX community is hands down.  It is the most welcoming and energetic. It’s a perfect storm.
