Community response:  I love ADA, but it needs to fly ASAP before a lot of people including average HODLs lose interest the more.

Cardano is not about mooning and moving fast. If you want that then we suggest you go to other projects Cardano is about getting it right! Note: when developing the world’s next financial operating system, you need to take your time and do it right. That’s Cardano.

I am invested and bullish on Cardano ADA but geez it feels like the early 2000’s I mean everything. 12h to sync the blockchain on Daedalus, the ecosystem and this game. I say to myself we are so early and that’s why.

Node wallet takes time because you are synching with a blockchain with a lot of data from inception to now. If you don’t want that just go with lite version wallets like Yoroi.  Charles talked about it in an AMA. The Performance of Daedalus will be increased of course. They will work on it in the 4th quarter for the year. And yeah it’s a full node wallet like everyone before me said.

If you don’t like Daedalus sync times, you should use a different wallet that doesn’t keep a local copy of the entire blockchain on your computer.  Node wallet takes time because you are synching with a blockchain with a lot of data from inception to now. I am so glad to be part of this promising project! I don’t own too much ADA as per my financial capability and I am new in crypto world, but, I got excited the first time I knew about Cardano.  I have registered for the Summit. Well done IOHK Charles and Input Output HK team.

Love it.  Remember. It’s NOT about how much you own. It’s about growing that into something bigger. Find a good stake pool operator and make sure you get incentivized by them in terms of freebies, tech advice or help in something in the space.

It’s actually not a game, it’s a live virtual world that you’ll be able to explore during the summit. You’ll see yourself and other attendees in real time walking around the grounds. You can freely roam to check out different stages while interacting with the world around you.

It’s a bit confusing, does the virtual event require registration? How will that work?
