Ethereum ETH 2.0 Can't Come Quick Enough Gas Fees Are Terrible

Ethereum ETH 2.0 is expected to definitively lower the gas fees to near-zero levels, thus making it easier for people to access DeFi services. Indeed, Buterin plans to scale ERC-20 to the point where it can process more than 100,000 transactions per second. However, the reality is different.

Community response:  I used to check first thing in the morning if I was popular, now I just check Gas Fees. I was never popular.  Anyone that actually shills for ETH is never to be trusted IMHO.

I’m done with ETH and absurd gas fees. Liquidating all my ETH and NFTs as soon as possible. A digital transaction shouldn’t cost 150 dollars.

What scares potential buyer’s away from Ethereum gas prices is straight out of Robbery gas fees.   So clunky and outdated. No matter what the future holds. People will look back and ask why we ever used ETH with its inefficiency and ridiculous.

Ethereum is awesome and I fully believe in the project, but these gas fees are out of their damn mind. As soon as they get this under control is when it truly becomes a gold mine.

Just sitting here watching gas fees right now.  It’s a real horror movie.  How does anyone swap coins through any services with these ridiculous ETH GAS FEES?

While showing the photograph of an empty wallet comparing it to the Ethereum logo one of the user stated, after paying all these gas fees, Ethereum logo now makes sense to me.

These damn high gas fees got me just window shopping at the moment.  The struggle with Ethereum Gas Fees is real. ETH needs to fix gas ASAP, literally loosing sales over it.  Really hoping ETH evolves to solve this massive problem soon. If mass adoption is to happen, this can’t persist.

Just imagine how much more money would flow into the Crypto world if it weren’t for these ridiculous gas fees.

What are the Highest gas fees you’ve seen this weekend? I’m at $567. I rejected the transaction.

The reason ETH Gas Fees are so high is because there is literally that much demand.

Help me understand Gas fees – so cost of the item doesn’t matter? It’s just simply the site traffic on the network? Also, when you make an offer vs buy now does it transfer with no gas fee? Or is there still a gas fee? Thanks in advance.

Gas fees are outrageous.  Cryptocurrency – this thing was supposed to be easier than the BANKs.
