Siacoin (SC) Skynet Homescreen is the FIRST and ONLY DeFi Dashboard Offering Full Control

The Skynet Homescreen is the FIRST and ONLY DeFi dashboard that empowers users and devs with full control and censorship resistance.

Web3 needs decentralized front‑ends.  It is possible for users to manage all apps in one place.  Users can access saved copies from their decentralized cloud.

It is fully decentralized built using Skynet for decentralized storage and MySky for decentralized login, you are in full control, and your Homescreen moves with you from device to device.

Version Control Homescreen retains every copy of your saved applications, so you can always return to an earlier version if needed.

Decentralized Updates Homescreen checks to see if a developer has released new code and will download it to your personal cloud.

Pointing to a data David Vorick expressed:  Missing: Siacoin, doing $80,000 per month. If you added Sia we’d be the biggest average slice across the graph.

The community in response felt, yeah definitely missing, data is just from Web3 index so limited to the six protocols. Is there a public API/source to get Sia revenue? Don’t see it on Sia Stats. How to get Sia revs for the future.

Data is from Web3 index, so the analysis was limited to those projects.

If a tree falls in the forest, but no one is there to witness. Did it make a sound? Sia being excluded points to the obfuscation of the protocol. Community > Content > Statistics > Strategy to capture the broader market. What makes Sia different?

David previously spoke about a Skynet code.  He has been working on allowing users to have an OS-like background process running in the browser at all times. As long as there is a single tab open using Skynet, they can run tasks in the background. Tasks like blockchain syncing, or subscription management.

You essentially get a full operating system in the cloud that runs without you having to think about it.  A full decentralized operating system in the cloud, accessible from all of your devices at any time.

Elaborating on the use case example?  Online subscriptions are traditionally difficult in crypto because your wallet doesn’t usually have a reliable, continuous connection to the Internet. Skynet-node can run a subscription manager in the background that consistently refreshes your subscriptions as needed.

Does this imply you have found a good way to communicate with a single shared worker? You don’t need shared workers to make this possible. Unshared workers can communicate using the registry to simulate a shared worker (though less efficiently).

Active development brewing in the Skynet ecosystem.
