Barry Silbert is the founder and CEO of Digital Currency Group (DCG), a conglomerate of five cryptocurrency-focused companies. Also, DCG provides seed funding for blockchain-related companies. So, it just looks like anyone coming up with a Killer App Idea for ZCash would grab the attention of Barry Silbert.

Why Funding becomes important?  Developers contribute to the development of a blockchain ecosystem with their skill – investors push it further with their funding – which can be in the form of grants, capital investments, donations, loans and others.  Funding is required to start and run a business – whether app development or development of any useful product or service.

A Sample Additional Utility of Zcash:  Zemo App a Web3 Messenger powered by Zcash is building a messaging protocol on top of the Zcash ZEC blockchain. This protocol makes it possible to build real-time private messaging apps (chat, zmail, etc) that all speak to each other. Zemo, a mobile messaging app, will be the first app built on the protocol.
