Klaytn Network (KLAY) Climbing the Ranking Ladder Has a Recent Fraud Alert

Klaytn Network KLAY

The Klaytn Network (KLAY) has been recently seen climbing the ranking ladder; however, there is a fraud alert already.  Not a good news for a growing company.

Klaytn recently expressed, on March 30, 2021 that they just hit its ATH and that they are now ranked 13th on CMC. Further tweeted:  “Check out what we have accomplished in 2021. More exciting stuff coming up soon. Please stay tuned.”

Recently, it was published that Ground X, the blockchain unit of South Korea’s Internet giant Kakao, is utilizing its public blockchain Klaytn to transform a leading local media group into an incentivized, blockchain-based content platform.

Also, the Daily is participating in co-governance of the Klaytn blockchain.  The Klaytn Governance Council consists of 32 large enterprises, covering key verticals, from finance, IT to gaming and content, spread across Asia, including Worldpay, LG Electronics, Binance, and more. The Daily is the 32nd member, and the very first media company to sit on the Council.

Klaytn claims to be a service-centric blockchain platform which is providing an intuitive development environment with friendly end-user experience. They claim that they are built upon solid reliability and significant stability with substantial service development which is important for mass adoption.

The platform also permits real-world applications of large scale to be produced right away so that the end-users can make full use of services without much expertise in blockchain or cryptocurrency.

The fraud alert read thus:

Dear Customers,

Klaytn would like to make the following announcement:

Recently, there have been reports of fraudulent activities such as scam ads and smishing from accounts falsely claiming to represent Klaytn or a GroundX partner on messengers like Telegram and other social media channels, while unlawfully using our trademarks.

Please note that Klaytn hosts all of its events (or airdrops) only via our official website, Facebook and other channels, and we do not ask for your private information (ID, email address, public key, private key) on messengers or social media; nor do we ask for any type of cryptocurrencies as a condition for participating in our events or campaigns.

Please take heed of the fact that all official news and updates are announced only via Klaytn’s official social media accounts and the official Klaytn website.

Furthermore, using trademarks of Klaytn, Kaikas or Klip without permission constitutes an unlawful use with no legal foundation as well as a serious infringement of the rights to the trademarks. Please note that Klaytn and GroundX will take necessary legal action on these matters and those responsible will be held to account.

Thank you.

Klaytn Team
