Supply Curve issue Clarification Everything is Clear Time to Push Digibyte (DGB) Up

digibyte push up
  • Supply Curve Issue is not Urgent and Critical Threat
  • Thanks Giving to Contributors
  • Call for Developer Input
  • Push Digibyte to the Next Level

Digibyte@DigibyteCoin posted a long clarification thread:  It is essential to take time and clarify a few things with the Digibyte community. While this Twitter account conveys news about DGB daily, it is not the “official” source of all information and info for the worldwide, decentralized community. There are indeed many sources and many voices.

These voices are frequently retweeted here as everyone’s contribution is paramount to the growth of the DGB ecosystem. Everyone should have a say in the community. Decentralization can be challenging at times, but this is, after all, why many were drawn to DGB to begin with.

A group of community members who have continually contributed to spreading news, updates, and awareness for DigiByte have been given access to this account, and they run it daily. It’s not just Jared Tate. Everyone should get involved with DigiByte in the way they best see fit.

Anyone and everyone is free to work to further the DigiByte cause, including fundraising and bounties. What you do with your DGB is your own business, nor ours. This is a free and open network. Anyone is free to raise funds for whatever purpose they wish.

The supply curve issue found in code is not an urgent critical threat. However, it is a major priority to be addressed in the next upgrade, and work is already underway to correct it even though it does not cause inflation till 2035. Developers will make sure only 21 B DGB are ever mined.

Thank you to Josiah Spackman, Matthew Cornelisse, and Yoshi Jaeger for discovering and documenting this issue, as well as their continued contributions to this project. Everyone should take a deep dive into the issue & dev input is warmly welcomed by the community to help sort the issue.

All contributions to code advancement, including those from @barrysty1e w/ regard to v8 and @blackminerf1 w/ regard to Odocrypt, are much appreciated. A sincere Thank You cannot be said enough to everyone who has spent their time, energy, and attention working to make DigiByte better.

Recent events show that the need for clear, concise, open communication among developers, community members, and others is paramount at the end of the day. So let’s all work together to ensure that happens. The future of the Digibyte Blockchain is looking very bright. Thank you all!

There is a concerted effort underway to make this account much more active. All input is welcome. Can you direct us to the source?

Community response:  Finally.  Now, everything cleared up. It’s time to push DigiByte to the next level.  I have no idea how I can help, but I’m bored like shit, so if something needs to be tested here, I’m.

Big Thank You too for those who run this, especially those who have steered clear from the Limelight. You are building a legacy here. Your daily grind is appreciated.
