Avalanche: How is the next wave of NFTs going beyond digital art? Learn from the experts about real-world use cases and how they can bridge art with other sectors, including ticketing services. NFTs are the latest buzz in the fintech and blockchain space; however, not all understand why they’re important and how they can be used.
Avalanche, natively supports the creation of digital assets, including fixed-cap assets, variable-cap assets, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Some assets are fungible, and all units of that asset are perfectly interchangeable. For example, the notes of a currency are fungible.
For example: if one $5 note is then treated the same as any other $5 note. Some assets, by contrast, are non-fungible. That is, elements are not unique and perfectly interchangeable. Real estate is non-fungible because each piece of land is distinct. Non-fungible tokens are a valuable way of representing proof of ownership of a unique asset.
However, there is an overall narrative that NFTs are not meritorious as they are spoken of. There is a forthcoming webinar that clarifies this issue.
