Shibburn is the twitter account where every time someone burns SHIB tokens it gets posted there automatically.

A recent tweet there stated, 349,669,409 SHIB -> transferred to dead wallet.

For clarity, Coin burning refers to the process of sending cryptocurrency tokens to a wallet which lost its access key.  For simpler understanding, just think about it as dumping the coins in an empty room and the key gets permanently lost. Thus, they are permanently removed from circulating supply on purpose.

The expectation is that when the developers or miners burn the coins, the numbers of coins which are available in the digital currency market reduces. Eventually, the price of the coin will increase (at least theoretically it should).

Unedited Community Response:  I have a feeling 1 day someone will just come out the blue and burn few trillions of coins just randomly.  We as a community need to burn trillions in a month, I’m sure we can we teaching 1 million holders.

It just feels like, “Now THAT is a burn! Kudos to the person in a position to be able to do that.”

Someone who did the math to convert the value to USD stated, that was 17,500$ you burned for the community we appreciate it.

This is huge money and people were left wondering where it came from and who did it. Many were wondering who did this burn?

While someone with a common sense was wondering if the Twitter Account Shibburn is actually real? Further left wondering, there is no way this account is real all the burning they report would mean only 25% of SHIB would still be left.

Some feel this is a crazy give away. Those who did not believe in burning were like, I’m wondering how anybody can think Shiba will EVER reach 1$. It is not really possible, with this circulation and with any of existing burning mechanism. They can’t burn 99.99% tokens.

If Shiba can burn 120Trillions in just last 3 weeks then I have no doubt Shiba will even hit above $1. Wait and watch. If a coin like Doge with unlimited supply can reach to $0.87 ATH then Shiba definitely can with limited 390T supply and more than faster burning mechanisms.

Definitely need a true burn for this to go up as high as people want it. Mathematically it just can’t happen unless someone burns a bunch of coins.

Oh yeah it’s never going to hit $1, probably $0.1 at the highest, but the chances are so extremely low, a more likely scenario would be highest $0.02
