Lisk is aBlockchain application platform, founded by Max Kordek and Oliver Beddows in early 2016. Based on itsBlockchain network and token LSK, Lisk enables developers to build applicationsand deploy their side-chain linked to the Lisk network, including a customtoken.
The Foundation acknowledged the contributions from the developers in the Lisk.Js annual event organized in November. The blockchain development event ran through the whole day at Kuehlhaus Berlin. The event consisted of workshops, coding challenges, development tasks, and research and development. There were a panel discussion and a wide array of Lisk Ecosystem presentations by the core community members. Lisk organizes several events to help their community to code, network, and learn with their local developers and blockchain enthusiasts. Most of the List meet up are featured along with a fireside chat with an Ask Me Anything session. Engaging and informative conversations happen in the event, and the community develops its knowledge base.
The Foundation has been liquidating its assets in an ongoing strategy to cover for the project expenses. Lisk is currently going by the rule of having sufficient money to cover for the costs of 12 months per the financial update provided by Lisk. The expenses consist of the everyday functioning of the Lisk Foundation, like paying for salaries, administrative contractors, dealing with legal compliance, and accounts are thus taken care of.
The company hasliquidated Bitcoin Suisse to liquidate BTC worth3.622.962,85 EUR. This provides for3.983.781, 50 CHF.
The foundation is spending enoughto contribute to the different facets of Lisk's growth in areas of development,marketing, bounties, sponsorships, and operations.
The wallet is an all in one solution used to manage the Lisk account. It is used to send tokens, vote for delegates, and also to access tokens.
The builders' program from Liskfacilitates to receive funding for proof of concept. A continual Lisk Improvement Process takesplace after due research. The teamcontinuously researches into what is required next to develop on theirprotocol. Max and Oliver are the peoplewho set up the Lisk Foundation in Zug, Switzerland, in 2016. They are set to progress towards 2020,working on their continuous improvement plan for Lisk. The community is engaged in developing moreapps contributing to the expansion of the List ecosystem.
