The builders of DAI have to claimthat Dai can be used by anyone, anywhere, and at any time. The price of MKR is currently trending at$462.58. However, they send aforewarning asking investors not to send money to accounts that areimpersonating Maker.
The MKR token holders are thedecentralized community which governs the Maker Protocol. The Maker protocol is the smart contractwhich powers Dai.

Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert, tweeted: “The good thing about @MakerDAO "#MKR," as they claim, is that they do not discriminate, and any business or individual will be able to realize the advantages of digital MoneyMoney."

The Maker DAO project issomething that is being very closely watched. Mainly because the Chinese preferreputation and functionality when it comes to financial services, rather thandecentralization. There is an increasinginterest in DeFi in China, and about 10% of MakerDAO's traffic comes fromChina.
