Pornhub, the leading and the biggest pornographic video sites are expanding its crypto payments to accept Tron’s cryptocurrency soon. Tron cryptocurrency, founded by Justin Sun -  a Chinese entrepreneur who also acquire the file-sharing company, BitTorrent.

According to the source, Justin Sun bought the BitTorrent for $118 million. All the investors in BitTorrent, which started in 2004 had a long legacy of being used for piracy which includes DCM Ventures and Accel Partners.

Sun aims to use the newly acquired BitTorrent to expand the power of Tron. According to Sun, BitTorrent aims to be a decentralized content-sharing platform that leverages peer-to-peer network technology and Blockchain technology. The Tron will also deal with Pornhub, which aims to have more than 90  million users daily.

The Pornhub also aims to add features of its payment for all the users to pay with ZenCash. Pornhub also announces that it is now accepting payment through Verge, a cryptocurrency that allows for anonymous transactions by obscuring the locations and IP address of its users.

According to Pornhub Vice President Core Price, the decentralized system will continue to grow in popularity, and the adoption of cryptocurrency is exploding across all the economic spectrum. He also added that cryptocurrencies are viable in an adult entertainment industry because they incorporate anonymity tools and they are privacy-centric than the traditional tender.

Both the Tron and ZenCash currencies, which was launched in 2017, can now be used as a mode of payments for Pornhub purchases including advertising network, Premium streaming service, and its traffic. TRX, Tron’s token, has been one of the quickest-growing cryptocurrencies today in the market although it remains dwarfed by Ethereum and Bitcoin.

Cryptocurrencies remain to be volatile and the Tron’s market cap three weeks ago was more than $4 billion and just this week, it stood for about $2.6 billion. According to Tron, TRX, its token can process payments with a rate of 10,000 transactions per second – which is 400 times faster than Ethereum.

Last April, Pornhub made a partnership with the Verge. With this announcement, Pornhub is now accepting Verge for their crypto payments. It was the reported that Pornhub received thousands of payments with Verge although the giant porn site also received both positive and negative reaction after the announcement of the said partnership. With today’s plan of Pornhub to accept Tron’s cryptocurrency, it was expected to receive mixed reactions from Pornhub users.
