NEO Smart Economy continues to facilitate an open network for a smart economy at a point in time when the whole world is touched in one way or the other by the COVID crisis.

The highlights of the Financial Report of 2019 spoke about milestone releases from the different projects in the NEO ecosystem.

The report highlighted:  “March also saw milestone releases from projects within the ecosystem. Incognito completed a privacy bridge between the Incognito Wallet/DEX and the Neo blockchain, offering users in the Neo ecosystem access to anonymous transactions.

The NeoLogin team developed the SmartBNB protocol, a cross-chain solution intended to allow tokens on Binance Chain to use Neo smart contracts. And, Moonlight launched its MVP dubbed “Copernicus,” allowing for the creation and sharing of professional profiles, basic analytics tools, examples for attribute verification, and automated self-sovereign identity creation.”

Sydney Ifergan, the Crypto Expert, tweeted:  “It is good that NEO Smart Economy and several blockchain networks are active – a privilege for online projects despite the pandemic.  We now know many things are not to be taken for granted.”

The Neo St Petersburg Competence Center recently introduced a content delivery network (CDN).  The network is meant to use the Send NeoFS service. Of note, the CDN is part of a larger plan meant to provide a global and decentralized CDN, which will use NeoFS and the Neo blockchain.

NEO Smart Economy Manage Digital Identities on Public Blockchain

On April 07, 2020, Neo Research published a scientific paper.  The paper addresses the ICT, NEO Blockchain to be an example of digital assets and democracy. Further identifies the NEO consensus protocols to manage digital identities on the public blockchain.

Neo Smart economy published that it is now possible to use the NEO blockchain Toolkit for .NET, which will be useful for developing smart contracts on NEO.

Further, Neo and @uzh_blockchain, @UZH_en, the largest university in Switzerland, have established a long-term partnership meant to promote #blockchain technology education, research, and its usage throughout Europe.

Da Hongfei, the NEO founder, will be speaking at Blockchain 2020, the virtual conference which is scheduled to take place “from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm (UTC+2) on April 16th and 17th, 2020.”

The event will focus on topics around:  “Investment in cryptocurrency, social impact, the gaming industry and blockchain, smart trading in blockchain, the DeFi space, security aspects of blockchain and cryptocurrency, privacy, and enterprise blockchain trends for 2020.”

Neo Developers are active on the network working towards innovation and usability, contributing in a decent way to the cryptocurrency space.  There is a lot that needs to be done.
