Jack Dorsey: Hyperinflation is going to change everything. It’s happening.
Michael Saylor replied stating, Inflation is the problem, Bitcoin is the solution.
Community Response: Wealth concentration is the problem. Bitcoin doesn’t help with that. At best it provides a generational opportunity to redistribute some cards.
Political and monetary manipulation by the wealthy is the problem, not wealth concentration itself. Bitcoin solves that. Bitcoin vaccinates our portfolios from incompetence, corruption, and greed.
I got my first BTC shot in January with a booster shot in July.
Come to Argentina to know the true inflation. Michael you will see how difficult it is to eliminate it even with high interest rates.
Inflation is the side effect of a dysfunctional financial system. It is a system based on Debt. US dollars’ equals debt. Let’s get back to basics what is the difference between Assets and Debts. The system has confused them.
I am a Bitcoin maximalist. Let’s fight the corruption with reasoning, not easily disproven by memes. Some reasoning: You cannot assume 100% of the price increase is from inflation. Maybe the economic value of the surrounding area increased – Supply and demand still apply.
Once they steal everything from you through inflation due to the stupid fiat money printing they do it because they can. And, they steal everything from you through this crazy pandemic. What do you think is going to save you? Bitcoin.
Just like Yin and Yang, we have Good Gods among us and Bad Gods among us. Clearly, the Bad Gods (inorganic ones) have been running planet earth. I know Bitcoin was given to us via a Good God.
The cost of goods is the cost of goods. The ability to buy bitcoin is still dependent on getting paid and having money to buy bitcoin. Whether you are paid in dollars or bitcoin isn’t relevant. And the poor can’t gamble being paid in currency that fluctuates 10% in a day.
You guys keep saying Bitcoin is the solution. That’s only because you have so much fiat to convert it to BTC! But so many people don’t have money to convert to BTC it’s the same thing. The rich will get richer. Have very little Bitcoin. I’m lucky, but rich are taking it all.
Hyper-inflation will severely hurt the US poor but will destroy the world’s poor. It’s a race between getting hard money into the hands of common people and the parabolic downfall of fiat money. The clock is ticking.
