David Vorick: One thing I really like about Elon Musk is that he doesn’t just ask “what if the world looked like X?” He goes out and makes it so. And, sometimes it really blows up in his face. 99% of people I know have aspirations but don’t trust themselves enough. Don’t be afraid of shrapnel.

We need more people like him. He cares about the environment, about traffic, and about space. A second Elon Musk might care about education, the food supply chain, and affordable housing.

Community Response:  I don’t like the cult of personality surrounding him but it’s just one of the results in the pursuit of science. He should be doing much more progressive things with his wealth beyond cars and ships. Invest in people.

I think Elon Musk will teach students that Power, Utility, Science, Sarcasm and Yearning is underrated. I believe that is his point.

I hope you will name your University “DOGE” and require your students to own Doge.
