It just looks like Nigerian Binance Users are Having Trouble Dealing with their user accounts for some reasons.
Binance Africa shared: If you’re a Nigerian Binance user and you believe your account is wrongly suspended, please fill in this form and we will investigate.
User security is our top priority. At times, we proactively restrict accounts to protect users’ funds. Other times, we have to restrict accounts at the request of law enforcement. But never will we restrict accounts without good reason.
Once we have received your case information, we will review if and why your account is restricted. If your account has been restricted at the request of a law enforcement agency we will send you details of who to contact for the next steps.
At Binance, we are committed to working with law enforcement agencies to ensure our community remains safe and to prevent fraudulent activity throughout the industry. Binance is not scamming you.
Community Response: Then, finally I was told Binance has the right to choose who they don’t want as their customers without knowing why they disabled my account. What do you guys say about this?
That’s exactly why you always hear the term “not your keys, not your crypto”. It’s a centralized exchange, which means you’re giving them your crypto to hold for you. They can close your account having crypto worth $1,000,000 with no tangible reason and you would do nothing.
Well to start with, the Nigerian government doesn’t support crypto trading and crypto exchanges (including Binance). So, how come you are not working with Nigerian law enforcement?
NOT A LAW BINDING ON NIGERIAN NOR A REGULATION BINDING ON A FOREIGN-BASED CRYPTOCURRENCY TRADING/ EXCHANGE COMPANY (THEY DO NOT HAVE THE JURISDICTION TO DO SO) PLEASE LET’S BE GUIDED BY RECENT COURT RULINGS ON CRYPTOCURRENCY CASES IN NIGERIA. THANK YOU ALL!
It’s embarrassing for people not to know the reason why their accounts are blocked. Referring them to a just/unjust law enforcement? Do you know what happens in there?
That’s the warning I got from Fellow Nigerians. Today then Swiftly I had to move my funds to Metamask.
Is it that I have to be lucky or what? Because I have never had any issues with my Binance account before. Seems Binance is becoming very wild.
Make I just delete the app from my phone, it takes lot of space. Just imagine. Someone wanted to send me crypto from his Binance account just yesterday and these fools charged him over 60% of the whole funds as charges, I just told the guy to rest.
Learn before you complain. That’s why we have BSC Binance Smart Chain Network BEP20. Go and look it up. I make zero-fee transfers on Binance. Make sure you put learning as a priority.
Stop suspending accounts with the funds in them except they are fraudulent in which you should return them to where they are sent from. Kick the individual out and close the account. How bold you guys are to just freeze people’s money without explanation CZ_BINANCE.
Binance is not suspending a certain account if there is no problem with it. It may be that one of the withdrawals is associated with a scammer address.
Why are you Restricting to only Nigerians? What about Ghanaians and the Rest of African Countries being Targeted?
Understandably, you want to keep Binance clean, but at least you people should do it the right way, involve the law enforcement within the user’s jurisdiction. That is the right way.
In my case, I bought a coin legitimately from a Canadian, I paid him, my account was frozen. I explained to the officer I was referred to how I bought the coin, I sent him all the proof and also the information of the seller.
The officer refused to go after the culprit who is in his country, walking free while my account has been frozen and abandoned, he doesn’t care about my source of livelihood.
I lost 40% of the crypto assets in my wallet. I couldn’t even hold my position because of just 0.08 BTC. Why cz_binance BinanceAfrica BinanceHelpDesk couldn’t freeze just that amount and let me hold convert all my crypto to a stable coin, why freeze all. Binance Stop Scamming.
