Metaverse is where users will be able to benefit as a participant and an investor. Being in a metaverse provides social and learning benefits.  However, more to it are the benefits one will be able to get as an investor.

An investor who owned the rights to a particular metaverse will be able to benefit from that in two ways:  1.  Sell the rights so that the buyer can operate in the metaverse.  2. Partner up to offer metaverse experience as a team.

For instance, a metaverse investment to run a virtual museum is a method to generate ongoing revenue stream.  Other methods are running a virtual store.

For instance, during May 2021, a virtual Gucci handbag, the Dionysus Bag with Bee, was sold on the Roblox metaverse for the cryptocurrency equivalent of over USD 4,000, more than the $3,400 real-world price.

Thus, it is possible for investors to be able to make money in real-time projects.

Gaming in the metaverse space is progressing at an incredible rate over the past few years. And, the metaverse has already taken gaming to a whole new level.  Thus, the virtual world has been feeling incredibly real to users.

For instance, Axie Infinity is one of the popular games where users will be able to earn more money in the Metaverse space. 

There is an NFT-based game which supports Ethereum-based cryptocurrencies or SLPs as payment methods. So, those who use this game will be able to earn money by participating in this game.  Thus, users will be able to earn money or SLPs for their “Axies,” which are the pets they own by breeding, racing, and trading them.

Social Interaction is an important aspect which has been enhanced by the metaverse.  People are able to socialize in the virtual world.  They are able to connect, collaborate and communicate even if they are not physically present near each other.  The experience is so immersive that no one will realize they are physically in different locations, it makes participants feel so realistic.

Media and Entertainment:  In the metaverse, media and entertainment are set to look similar. To enter the virtual world all that the users will have to have the AR-VR headsets. Thus, users will be able to attend virtual concerts, visit virtual theme parks, place bets on sports, and so on- and all of these just like we do it in the real world.

Virtual Tourism is another aspect of the metaverse. Customers will be able to take a 3D virtual hotel tour and research the location of the hotel where they are prospecting to stay by making use of VR platforms and hardware. Before booking a hotel room, travelers will be able to put on their 3D digital avatars and take a virtual tour of the facility. For instance, users can explore the Atlantis, The Palm, located in Dubai virtually.

Commerce is making it big in the metaverse space. Brands are setting up virtual shops in the metaverse in the future.  This is where buyers will be able to take a 3D virtual tour to try out different products before making a purchase. The products get delivered home once the purchase has been made. The purchasing process is expected to be lot similar to what we are currently encountering in supermarkets, except that it will take place completely online.
