Time for Court to Unseal SEC documents after Ripple (XRP) documents

In a recent ruling, judges ordered three of Ripple’s documents to be unsealed. The documents were related to “Notice of Brad Garlinghouse’s Deposition” Chris Larsen E-mail String, and Brad Garlinghouse E-mail.

On February 03, 2022:  James K.Filan shared: XRP Community SEC Gov v Ripple XRP In today’s Ruling, Judge Torres ordered 3 documents unsealed now: 172-1, the Notice of Brad Garlinghouse’s Deposition in the SEC formal investigation, 179-4, a Chris Larsen Email String, and 179-5, a Brad Garlinghouse Email.

Community Response:  If this is the worst, SEC is going to have a tough time with it. Consensys showing (& market performance of XRP vs. BTC/ETH) is probably what shocked competitors & spurred alarm in the industry to kick off the conspiracy. Threatened by real competition. No libertarians in foxholes.

I can see why these documents are desirable to the SEC. Brad’s talk about increasing XRP price and how that reflects the value of Ripple plays into the hands of the ‘common enterprise’ argument for treating XRP as security.

You get it wrong. Let’s assume that you run a shop and you have tons of sugar in your warehouse, when the price of sugar increases, your company’s balance will increase. When your company’s price rises, it does not affect the sugar price. SEC has nothing to look for here.

Ripple chess move? Fight to seal, but lose banking judge will likewise require in-kind disclosure by SEC?

How is it possible that SEC gets Ripple’s document every time and SEC has not given any document yet?  The judge also ordered SEC to provide so many answers to several of Ripple’s questions from a long time ago, but SEC still does not produce anything.

This email from Brad is good for Ripple. “Further decentralize” and price mechanics revolve around market sentiment regarding XRP use case, not so much what Ripple does.

This is a joke:  1 ruling and the documents get released, but when she makes a ruling 3+ against SEC we still wait.

Easy to tell which party is complying and being cooperative in the court of law, and which side is holding contempt.

SEC can turn over any nonsense and walk away freely.  Ripple provided all the evidence, but in return is getting suspected and pulled and dragged in to litigation. So, this is very normal in US litigation progress.

SEC produces nothing and delays every time.  Ripple produces everything and the judge does nothing to demand SEC document. Lost faith in the court 100%.

These documents show Ripple is doing exactly what they always said they were doing. Building the Internet of Value and working on cross-border remittances. I’m shocked (sarcasm).

Nice to see the court unseal some of Ripple’s related documents.  Now, the community will themselves decide that XRP Community is on the right side of the law. All the three docs are saying the same thing – these were already been told in the open.  Nothing new.

Now it’s time for the court to Unseal the SEC documents.

After reading these I am confused! Wait, after reading these I think the SEC is confused! Wait a minute after reading these, I think Ripple is playing Chess with checkers players!
