The dark side of the web is stronger than ever with tech giants ruling with impunity. Polkadot Decoded claim that blockchain rebels from around the galaxy are joining forces to build a new web.  A free alliance of sovereign chains is taking shape and the fate of internet freedom rests on their shoulders and the force is strong with Polkadot.

For clarity, dark web is the part of the internet which is not visible to the search engines.  Most of the dark web are accessed by making use of Tor, which is an anonymizing browser.  It is well known that dark web is the hub of criminal activity. Illicit material is found in the dark web.

Increasing numbers of dark websites harm enterprises and their numbers are increasing. Dark web provides access to all kinds of stolen subscription channels, drugs, guns, counterfeit money, and also breaking in to other people’s computers. They make available login credentials to several enterprises. Hackers get hired to attack computers and hack usernames and passwords.

There are also legitimate sites in the dark web.

Polkadot are now joining forces to make it possible to build a new web that does not entertain illegal activity.

At Polkadot Decoded from May 19 to 20, 2021 lot of featured speakers are set to discuss a wide range of topics like:  capturing behind the code; parachains- disrupting the layer one landscape; parsing parachains- the who the what and the why; Auctions, crowdloans and the slots; community talks; and a barstool chat with Gavin Wood.
