Theta is a decentralized video delivery network, powered by users and an innovative new blockchain.

HarkTV is a live streaming platform, which focuses on social good.  It has been integrated with Theta Network and has been built from ground up.

Minty makes it possible for users to create their own Theta NFTs.  There is no coding experience needed to create an NFT with this Android App.

ThetaScan has now expanded to support TNT20 tokens, on-Chain Theta metrics and staking data.

ThetaNext is a Dashboard and Notification system, which provides the details of the Wallet balances, rewards and services payments.

Theta board is meant to easily install and run a Theta Guardian Node as well as on chain Theta analytics.

Theta Buddy is used to link your Alexa Device directly to Theta TV streaming network.

Similarly, there are a range of other apps contributing to the usability in the ecosystem.

So, Theta Network is about decentralized video streaming powered by users.

Edge Cast Technology improved the capability of the Theta Edge Node Network.  This technology improved the ability of the network to capture live video, transcode it in real time, cache, and relay live stream video data to users globally through P2P edge network. There is no central server or service used in this pipeline.

Further, Theta Mainnet 3.0 is estimated to be launched June 30, 2021. Theta tokens are the governance token of the Theta Network.  They provide users with a lot of functionalities. Theta is used to stake as a Validator or Guardian node to produce blocks to further participate in the protocol governance.

The governance system in the 3.0 ecosystem will consist of Validators and Guardians, Elide Edge Nodes.  TFuel staking and burning is set to be introduced.

The Utility ecosystem is made up of video platforms with streamers and viewers. The TFuel circulation will be permitted for purchase by the utility ecosystem, where they will use it to pay and reward streamers. TFuel will also be burned as network fee.

TFuel burning mechanism will add a cost for using Theta edge network, namely a “network fee” as a balancing force against new TFuel supply.

As Theta’s edge network becomes more widely adopted, this could meaningfully reduce the supply of TFuel.
