Jared Tate expressed:  The UTXO code base started with Bitcoin and is now shared by Digibyte Litecoin Dogecoin and many others could very well be the most complex piece of software ever written. It is now the summation of thousands of years of working hours of human intelligence, innovation, and achievement.

For clarity, UTXO refers to the amount of digital currency someone has left remaining after executing a cryptocurrency transaction such as bitcoin. The letters stand for unspent transaction output. Each bitcoin transaction begins with coins used to balance the ledger.

Bitcoin employs the UTXO model, and Ethereum makes use of the Account/Balance Model.  The UTXOs get processed continuously, and it is responsible for beginning and ending every transaction. Although confirmation of transaction results in the removal of spent coins from the UTXO database, which is a record of the spent coins, it still exists on the ledger.

Trust is not self-evident, but trustless systems should be. Digibyte blockchain can provide security and privacy by design in many real-world solutions and applications. So let’s stop just talking about it. Instead, let’s start building it.

Aren’t we working on DigiByte version 8?  Yes. All of this has been done because the DigiByte v8 release is shaping up to be SO massive that it made sense to ensure we didn’t miss anything inadvertently.

If people want to support DGB building, one of the ways is to contribute to the DigiByte v8 + Fundraiser.

Josiah Spackman stated, “We needed to ensure that DigiByte remained “DigiByte” and that this new client based on the new Bitcoin Core code base still functioned perfectly in the interim, right? Up until our first fork-date for v8.”

So what’s the plan? When do we get DigiByte version 8?  First, we’re releasing 7.17.3.  A lot is to be done, and finally, after all the updates, it will be V8.

Community intentions:  A $100 Billion Market Cap for Digibyte is roughly $7. This WILL get there in time. Ask yourself how much DGB do you need to own at $7 to live a comfortable life with your family? Spread the word.

Digibyte is one of the few real cryptocurrencies in existence with no central actors and complete decentralization. Everything is happening organically. By the people, for the people.

It is important to understand why decentralization matters. If you haven’t read the BTC whitepaper, it is where this all begins. It will also lead you back to DGB.
