ALGO Community FUDing Cardano (ADA) is Really Not the Way

Allen Wu:  Dear ALGO community, FUDing Cardano is really not the way. You are psyops-ing your own project. Many in the Cardano community already hold ALGO, just like how we already hold ERGO because we recognize quality tech. Heck, I probably hold more ALGO than 95% of you.

Those of you shouting “ALGO has better tech” have a fundamental misunderstanding of what cryptocurrencies are about. It is not a Web2 company that you build up then sell to Google or Amazon. At the core of Web3 is identity and community. Those are built off transparency and equality – neither of which are present in Algorand’s VC-centric tokenomics and roadmap. Algorand’s win condition is to get into a deal with a developed nation for CBDC, Cardano’s is to bank the unbanked. Those are two completely different niches.

Algorand will never bank the unbanked, just like how developed nations will not yield their corrupt power to a decentralized group that they cannot control.

Algorand’s competition are the Solanas and NEARs of the world, not Cardano. On top of that, our project founders are friends and respect each others’ work. There are better ways to play your hand.

Community Reaction:  I was very positive about Algorand and owned a lot in 2020-21. They’ve convinced me to get out and let it go. Nothing of significance is brewing there.

I don’t think it will ever change. You see this happen with several blockchain communities when there is no strong vision to focus on.  No community building.  No strong values or any kind of guidance. You need people from their own community to call bad behavior out otherwise. I don’t like it when someone talks FUD about other projects. I have more respect for people who talk positively or neutrally about their opponents.

There’s no point on FUDing Cardano. It’s obviously one of the best crypto project there is. With the development of the Cardano Island, there’s no way you could destroy this project. If I were you, I’d hold on ADA and make more profit soon.

100% agree – Holding ADA, holding ERGO, holding ALGO. There is unnecessary hate/fud from some of the Algo community members. I didn’t see Cardano community trashing Algorand, as you said we recognize good tech.

Everyone and their dog is going to most likely keep stacking as little as possible at these discounted prices. The more the market goes up, the greater the opportunity to achieve incredible returns.
