Emin Gun Sirer expressed: Fact: Ava Labs is in Williamsburg.
Emin stated this in response to Jake Brukhman stating, Williamsburg is the new Wall Street.
Burning fees was an Avalanche invention. Come check out the system; it has a bunch of other inventions. Burn Baby Burn.
When someone asked: Say, if AVAX goes to $120, will the fees go down? I paid 0.04 AVAX most of the time, and right now, it’s okay, but in the future, though.
Dynamic fees are currently in testing. They will do exactly that.
The community was like: What do you think you are doing wrong with such a quality project? Marketing or something else? Why has fiat been on a downtrend for a long time? He is not doing anything wrong, but sometimes he likes to exaggerate; I don’t want to say lie; burning fees was there long before Avalanche.
Others were like, where can I track the burning? I don’t think anyone invented the burning of fees. I think it was just there.
Just a suggestion, Emin, I believe that Avalanche has the great tech and stuff. It’s just I don’t think it’s necessary to compare it with Ethereum and other chains constantly. ETH people are very protective of what they have and reasonably so.
By the time this is over, Ethereum will be an amalgam of all the good things Avalanche has to offer. I guess that’s a good thing.
Comparison only provokes ETH believers and turns them against Avalanche, which is totally counterproductive. I like both Ethereum and Avalanche, with 1559 launching. I understand how this fee burning is exciting to people. So maybe just sit back and slow clap; time for Avalanche will come for sure.
AVAX was burning fees before ETH did, yes, but AVAX didn’t invent fee burning. I love AVAX (along with Ethereum), own a ton, and support the work being done, but this statement is not accurate.
The fact that Avalanche is there right after the three biggest platforms in barely a year says a lot. But, it certainly does a good job at burning those fees, and unlike others, Avalanche does it since day 1.
That’s a straight-up lie. You did not invent it. People DYOR. Are you kidding? XRPL has been doing that for many years now.
Wow! That’s a straight-up lie and unnecessary. It’s a false statement like this from project leadership that turns lots of people away from otherwise good tech.
Supporter of Emin: He means that Avalanche has been burning fees since day one as part of its protocol, people.
