BNB is once again grabbing attention in the crypto market, climbing steadily toward the $700 level as a combination of bullish forces fuels renewed interest. Over the past 24 hours, BNB rose by 2.8%, jumping from $670.40 to $688.70, with price momentum largely driven by a fresh $1 billion token burn and rising interest in using BNB as a corporate treasury asset
This recent rally aligns with broader bullish sentiment across the crypto market, where Bitcoin recently set a new all-time high above $118,000. However, BNB’s rise isn’t just a side effect of the market trend. Its price jump reflects specific developments that are drawing investor interest and institutional curiosity.
At the core of the current surge is Binance’s 32nd quarterly token burn, which permanently removed approximately 1.59 million BNB from circulation. Based on recent valuations, the total value burned in this round sits at around $1 billion. This deflationary tactic, which aims to reduce the overall supply of BNB to just 100 million tokens, continues to be a major catalyst for long-term price appreciation.
The impact of this strategy is beginning to show. According to data from a leading blockchain tracker, the cumulative total of burned BNB now stands at 265,605 tokens. Reducing the supply in such a significant way helps build scarcity, especially when combined with rising usage and adoption. It’s a formula that often spells upward price pressure in crypto markets.
But there’s more driving BNB than just deflationary mechanics. A growing number of institutional players are exploring ways to adopt BNB for their corporate treasuries. Reports indicate that over 30 teams are actively working on structuring public-company reserves denominated in BNB. One of the most prominent efforts comes from 10X Capital, an investment firm backing a proposed $500 million U.S.-listed BNB treasury company. If successful, such initiatives could bring a new layer of legitimacy and long-term support to BNB, positioning it as a digital asset of choice for treasury diversification.
On-chain activity supports this narrative. Active addresses on BNB Chain have doubled since March, reaching around 2.5 million daily, according to analytics provider Nansen. Daily transaction volumes have also tripled during the same period, suggesting that not only is interest growing—real usage is too. This strengthens the case for sustained demand, especially among institutional participants who often prioritize fundamental utility and adoption metrics over hype.
From a technical standpoint, BNB has displayed strong momentum over the last trading day. According to CoinDesk’s technical analysis model, BNB gained 2.77%, with its price ranging between a low of $667.61 and a high of $695.12. Trading volumes surged significantly, closing at 155,426 tokens—more than double the 24-hour average of 64,169. Such volume spikes often signal that traders are positioning for larger moves, potentially bracing for a breakout past key resistance levels.
Speaking of resistance, analysts are watching the $695.12 level closely, which represents the upper boundary of the recent trading range. The price briefly touched this level during intraday trading before settling into a narrow consolidation zone between $688.81 and $690.73. On the downside, firm support appears to have formed around $667.61, while the $688.80–$689.00 zone has become a short-term floor, providing a base for potential upward continuation.
The recent momentum has put BNB within striking distance of the psychological $700 barrier—a level that could trigger a stronger wave of buying if convincingly breached. Given the strength of recent trading activity and the combination of bullish catalysts, many traders believe it’s only a matter of time before that milestone is tested.
While short-term volatility remains a factor in all crypto markets, the longer-term outlook for BNB is increasingly being shaped by strategic moves rather than sentiment alone. With its deflationary model in full swing and credible moves toward treasury adoption underway, BNB may be transitioning from an exchange token to a more widely held institutional-grade asset.
Investors will now be watching whether this momentum can carry BNB past $700—and if the broader market environment continues to support altcoins with real-world use and shrinking supplies.
