In an attempt to educate the Cardano Community, the Cardano Foundation alerted in a tweet about scammers asking for personal and delicate information like mnemonics, passwords, and the rest. The Foundation also clarified that they do not organize any ADA give away.
Cardano Foundation tweeted: “Dear #CardanoCommunity, we are getting reports that well-known community members (including officials and ambassadors) and official channels are being impersonated on a massive scale on @telegram. Please don’t fall victim for these #scams and report any fake account you see.”
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert, tweeted: “Scammers are not trying to plunder just Cardano (ADA) community, they are rather everywhere trying to plunder every community.”
Cardano (ADA) What a Great Community Does
Charles Hoskinson congratulated Bitcoin on yet another major event. He stated, we should see the economic fall out of that in the coming months. Miners reallocate, and markets react. This weekend it was pretty turbulent with the markets. We saw about one and a half billion dollars with the Bitcoin liquidated, and that is what pushed the price down. We know that these things always happen.
He spoke about their Pioneer day with 19 of them. He stated that he was very happy about the outcome. He also stated that the distance between now and the Public Haskell test net is not so long.
He remarked about the forthcoming The Cardano Effect, which is set to discuss pledging. He stated that it is an excellent dialog that they are having with the community right now. A lot of opinions and a lot of passion. He said that it is just an example of how they get things done. We tell you what we are going to do and we do it. We, as a community, are set to operate as one. He stated that as a community, they operate as one – synchronized as one.
He stated how they have been working proactively as an example of what a great community does. The community holds you accountable for the commitments and the promises that you make. They understand that sometimes they can’t get anything done when you want to get it done, but they remind you that you have to get it done at some point. Therefore, he stated that they are getting things done every day.
Charles stated that the code quality is very high. The experience that we had the ease of use, deploying these things has been phenomenal.
