Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “Cosmos (ATOM) are focusing a lot on bridge codes to ensure interoperability for they know how important it is for chains to talk to each other.”
A lot of work has been done in developing the Peggy Bridge to provide for interoperability between Ethereum and Cosmos. The foundations laid for Peggy is believed to provide support to further work on several other decentralized internet networks.
The Peggy Bridge does a lot of things ranging from locking and unlocking funds from Ethereum, present data about the happenings on Ethereum to Cosmos Zone and vice versa through relayers. Determining the state of funds on Ethereum using relayers. There are different parts of Peggy progressing with varying levels of trust. It is well known that the overall trusting and trustless nature of the bridge depends upon its weakest link.
