The Ethereum Classic Cooperative on Monday released a retrospective detailing on the Ethereum Classic network milestones achieved by way of accelerated adoption, fostering collaboration, and mature governance. It is expected that retrospective reporting will encourage further insight, reflection, and motivation to propel the projects ahead.

Bob Summerwill, when talking about the retrospective report tweets:  “the most detailed transparency report to date from the ETC Cooperative, clocking in at 46 pages.”

Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert, tweeted:  “The ETC roadmap outlines that the majority of the future ETC ecosystem will engage itself as a capable “sibling project” to ETH. Wish most hard forks sustain this integrity.”

Accelerated adoption of the ETC technology, whether by individuals or enterprises through effective branding, marketing, and education is crucial.

Mass Adoption of Ethereum Classic (ETC) gets facilitated in the order of education and marketing, which further leads to branding.”

Fostering collaboration comes with the collaboration of ecosystem partners consisting of developers, miners, investors, enterprises, and end-users.

Mature governance tops it all by using funds and ensuring an effective and transparent governance framework.

A retrospective outlook provides for revamping that leads to new and improved form structure and appearance of how everything has been going one.

Ethereum Classic (ETC) Roadmap

The ETC Coop 2020 Roadmap clearly describes the goals for the network, thus providing for a means for self-assessment.  The technical strategy and organizational strategy gets outlined.

The technical strategy for the network, per the roadmap, spans across continued protocol stewardship, grassroots communication, marketing, partnerships, outreach, and development.

The organizational strategy focuses on processes, reports, policies, procedural deliverables, the implementation plan, and general guidelines.

Whether from the technical strategy or the organizational strategy, it is very clear and transparent about the direction in which the network participants should progress.  This takes the guesswork out of the equation, and the entire community gets tuned towards the right goal as opposed to everyone working holistically trying to make things fall in to place.

Ethereum Classic (ETC) on Volunteerism insufficient to Maintain Working Code

ETC clearly expresses that they are moving to a phase of maturity in blockchain technology.  They feel that it is essential to maintain client software, thereby contributing to protocol discussions as a professional undertaking.  They feel it is insufficient to maintain working code with mere Volunteerism.

The reason they cite is the decline of professional software engineers with small teams struggling to sustain their pace, “witness the sad decline in quality of Parity-Ethereum since 2017 despite the engineers working for one of the premium blockchain companies on the planet, with the Co-Founder having authored the specification and build the first client.”

Ethereum Classic is proud of what they are doing as they believe they are powered by the millions of strangers worldwide who can coordinate on the network with money, property, and agreements as it is completely trust minimized, socially scalable, and permission less.

They establish the ETC Brand by Promise, Personality, and Positioning.
