Developer activity on blockchain is an ongoing commitment to create a working project by continually polishing and upgrading its features until the requirements of the designated road map is fulfilled.
There are lots of Ethereum-based projects with high development activities. Gnosis, Status, Virtual Metaverse, and DeFi Synthetic Asset Protocol are just a few of the high developer activities on the Ethereum Network.
For clarity, DeFi projects are software protocols, which run on the top of a blockchain network like Ethereum. These projects make use of the protocol technology and leverage on the further improvements in the technology to upgrade financial services in a way to automate lending.
So, lot of heavy weight projects are running on the Ethereum Network. The network has high potential.
Ryan Berckmans, one of the ETH enthusiast stated, Ethereum’s competitors know that their best time to attack ethereum is now. Ethereum is scaling with L2s in Q1/Q2 and it is likely to launch EIP-1559 in July – switching to proof of stake next year. And then, ethereum will be generally accepted as the global settlement layer.
CZ Binance stated, ETH is a network for the rich guys now, but soon those guys will be poor.
In response, Ryan Berckmans stated, “I think we’ll see a correlation between competitors who fight dirty and their chains being centralized tire fires that structurally lack a decent strategy to compete with ethereum.”
Some users have been stating that Ethereum is a fee scam. Also, that if they do not fix it soon that they will get flipped.
Whether ETH will be flipped? Or Whether Ethereum Killers will take over is something that time will tell? For now, all of these are wishful thoughts of those who are not able to deal with the gas fee.
There have been several projects who have claimed to be Ethereum killers in the past, there are those who claim to be Ethereum killers now, and there will be Ethereum killers in the future. The numbers of such projects who are trying to establish themselves as better than Ethereum is increasing day by day.
The interesting thing is that those who call Ethereum incapable are trying to establish themselves by setting Ethereum as their competitor standard. This is proof enough for the capability of Ethereum. May be we have to see how many of the so-called ETH killers are going to actually kill the Network. And, why can’t they exist for themselves? Why should the projects kill each other at all? After all every project has its value.
