Gateway to Cosmos: The largest Cosmos Gateway Conference and Hackathon in Prague is set to happen between May 16, 2022 and May 17, 2022.
Developers who are already working on a project will find this as an exclusive opportunity to have their project evaluated with ecosystem leaders onside. Developers will also be able to collect bounties during the event.
“Gateway” is a developer focused event that provides for exclusive networking opportunity at the unforgettable Cosmos party. The event has a dedicated coding and working space, which facilitates an opportunity to consult for “your project with the ecosystem leaders onsite.” This is also the opportunity to collect exclusive bounties during the event.
Gateway to Cosmos will be held in Prague on the 16th and 17th of May and will be the largest Cosmos-dedicated in-person event since the November 2021 Cosmoverse in Lisbon.
Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic, is bisected by the Vltava River. Nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires,” it’s known for its Old Town Square, the heart of its historic core, with colorful baroque buildings, Gothic churches and the medieval Astronomical Clock, which gives an animated hourly show. Completed in 1402, pedestrian Charles Bridge is lined with statues of Catholic saints.
Speakers: Leaders from the blockchain industry, including key ecosystem speakers from Cosmos, Interchain io, informalinc, agoric, axelarcore, EvmosOrg, CelestiaOrg, sommfinance, CosmWasm, and Juno Network will deliver on pertinent topics.
Speakers are expected to share details related to Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC), shared security, Run Protocol, EVM compatibility, liquid staking, CosmWasm, on-chain privacy, and cross-chain bridges.
Small Bounties: The two-day hackathon consists of many exclusive small bounties. Developers in attendance can also spend some quality time coding in the hacker’s lounge, which will be separate from the main stage and foyer.
The bounties will be presented on the website for the duration of the conference. Collecting these small & easy bounties is an opportunity to gain invaluable coding experience while being guided by projects at the forefront of the industry such as agoric, axelarcore, and RBF cap.
Office Hours: Experienced hackers and bounty collectors can leverage the time by attending ‘Office Hours’ with Agoric and Axelar, gaining powerful insight into collecting larger and more professional bounties.
Project Feedback: Dean Tribble and Sergey Nog will be on hand to provide valuable project feedback. Attendees will also be able to party with their beloved Cosmos friends and extended network. This will be the largest Cosmos party to date.
Gateway to Cosmos is the one-stop-shop conference for all Cosmos Network evangelists. The ever-growing Cosmos community deserves a place to connect and network with one another in person to foster these special relationships that have stemmed from the Internet of Blockchains.
